I am a first time author from Meridian, MS. I enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1978, then transferred to the Air National Guard in Meridian in 1984. I served as an RF-4 crew chief before becoming a C-141 flight engineer and later a C-17 loadmaster. I retired from the military in December 2018 after serving over forty years. Twenty of those years were full time service. I was blessed to have a career I truly loved and a family that supported me. My wife Rita was there by my side through it all.
