Tommy Drumstick is an elf, but he is also an unruly teenager of 500 years. Being both invisible as well as very adept at flying, and a lot of other things he is a handful. As it is he just loves to tease humans whom he finds too prudent or polite to endure for an elf, especially kids. However, at one point he strikes up a friendship with a lovely, vivacious but also a bit unruly girl. They have a lot of fun being naughty until she grows up and, sort of, disappears for many years ....
When they meet again everything is changed because for some time he has been teasing a couple of girls whom he doesn't know are her annoyingly sedate grandchildren.

The school holiday has begun!
