What inspired you to become a writer?
I've always been fascinated by the power of storytelling and its ability to transport people to different worlds.
How do you approach the creative process?
I start with a central idea or theme and let the characters and plot develop organically as I write.
What challenges do you face while writing, and how do you overcome them?
Writer's block can be tough. Taking breaks, changing scenery, or free-writing helps me get unstuck.
Do you have a favorite genre to write in, and why?
I enjoy exploring various genres, but I'm drawn to speculative fiction for its limitless possibilities.
What role do real-life experiences play in your storytelling?
Real-life experiences often inspire elements of my stories, adding authenticity and relatability.
How do you handle criticism of your work?
Constructive criticism is valuable for growth; I try to learn from it. Everyone's entitled to their opinion.
Can you share a little about your writing routine?
I prefer to write in the morning when my mind is fresh. Consistency and a dedicated space are key for me.
Who are some authors that have influenced your writing?
Neil Gaiman, J.K. Rowling, and Haruki Murakami have had a profound impact on my storytelling style.
What do you want readers to take away from your work?
I hope my stories entertain, provoke thought, and maybe offer a new perspective on the world.
Any advice for aspiring writers?
Read widely, write consistently, and don't be afraid to embrace your unique voice and perspective.
