The Fire Lord Trilogy

The Fire Lord Trilogy

The Fire Lord Trilogy

Never before has there been a hero like Gideon Livingston, the Fire Lord.  In today's world of violence and evil, we need someone like him.  Gideon's world of Portus is experiencing the cylce of evil, just like Earth is experiencing now.  He faces the evil and overcomes them.  That's what superheroes are supposed to do.  Granted, he has control over fire, which allows him to do some amazing things, but his true heroic nature stems from his passion for liberty and his compassion for the oppressed.  He does this without choosing violence as the first option, but he does not shy away from it when it is necessary.  Unlike most fiction heroes, he is not conflicted and not hypocritical.  He stands for and is an example of what's good in the world.  In the style of Loui L'Amore, if he falls off his dragon, his hat stays on!  Gideon's adventures keep the readers on the edge of their seats with exhilarating action, intriguing solutions and faith inspiring bravery as he goes about righting the wrongs of Portus, and becoming the legendary Fire Lord.  Gideon Livingston as the Fire Lord, is the central character of the Fire Lord Trilogy and these are books that anyone in your family can read and enjoy without having to skip the bedroom scenes or bleep out the expletives.

The first book is, "The Last Voyage of the Betty-Lou."  In this book, Gideon discovers he has control over fire and that his family has been fighting the Overlords for generations.  He becomes the leader of the underground rebellion as the Fire Lord Reborn and through the help of Betty-Lou, a sentient airship, his family and the fearless crew, he battles the Overlord's armada, pirates and the evil Deputy Minister.

The second book of the Trilogy is, "The Dragon and the Maelstrom."  Gideon is now not only the Fire Lord, but the King and Protector of Portus.  He overthrew the old government and has set in motion the conversion to a new government.  Progress is slow and frustrating.  Gideon needs answers and he takes a journey of discovery to the rebel fortress.  There he learns of his history and why he has the dragon tattoo on his chest.  He encounters a hidden kingdom and frees them from his tyrannical opposite.

In the culmination of the Trilogy, "The Battle for Portus," Gideon's family is the target of an evil organization that has existed from the beginning.  Gideon tries to keep his family safe and uncover the evil organization called the Bridgers.  Gideon's heroic actions shine the light of liberty and freedom for all sentient beings who become his allies. In an amazing twist, key players in the final battle against evil, change the entire world of Portus as The Fire Lord utterly destroys the ancient evil organization and its power.
