Prapti Sharma is a PM-YUVA author with the Ministry of Education, India. Her historical fiction novel, "Gandhi Buri's Shadow", launched by Nobel Laureate Ms. Annie Ernaux, and published by the National Book Trust, India, is an ode to Matangini Hazra, an unsung freedom fighter from Bengal, India. Prior to being selected as a YUVA author, she authored a children's adventure-mystery novel, 'The Conspiracy' and her short story, 'The Long Road to Ranchi', is another historical fiction set across the backdrop of the 1965 drought of Bihar. Her poem, 'A Stranger in My Skin', has been published as part of a BIPOC anthology by Wingless Dreamer Publication, and another one, titled, 'Offer Me Your Love', has been published by Pencil Publications in their anthology 'Impressions of Love'. A passionate learner and mythology enthusiast, she is a lawyer from New Delhi, India, and seeks to give words to stories that matter but still remain
