She knows exactly what she wants from him, but schemes rarely work as planned when human emotions are style="text-align:justify;">The Greek myth of Pygmalion, the sculptor who fell in love with his statue of a beautiful girl, encapsulates the creator’s love for his or her creation. In the myth, Aphrodite brought the statue to life as Galatea who dutifully returned Pygmalion’s love and the couple lived happily ever after. But would a real-life Galatea have robotically loved her creator? And if she did, wouldn’t Pygmalion soon tire of her?
