Book Description

Dr. Allana Wilson, a dedicated, somewhat mousy physicist’s quiet and predictable life is shattered when she receives a letter from a brother reported dead in the loss of a U.S. nuclear submarine years earlier. She soon finds herself hopelessly tangled in a web of intrigue and danger as her only hope for survival is to team up with a brash former Government agent to fight a deadly enemy.

Their flight leads them from Kansas City to Washington, DC, through Appalachia and northern New York to Canada, where they flee attempted assassins from Ontario to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, and finally Newfoundland where they uncover a dire threat to America from within her military.

Now teamed up with a D.C. federal officer, a small band of retired U.S. special forces misfits, and four Canadian civilians, they find themselves America’s only hope of escaping a nuclear attack.

The Letter is fast-paced and exciting, but in the middle of it all, an unlikely love takes root.
