Book Description

Dr. Sidney Friedlander and his wife Miriam were happily married for most of their 32 years together. They had successful careers; he was a sought-after cardiologist at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, and she was a curator at one of New York’s top museums. The couple seemed to have it all. They were highly respected in Manhattan’s social scene and lived an affluent, lavish lifestyle. However, as Miriam grew older, she became increasingly distant and a recluse, a change that Sidney found both puzzling and concerning. Faced with this unexpected turn of events, Sidney finds solace in the arms of New York’s top model, Tori Kessling, sparking a scandalous affair. They devise a plan to be rid of Miriam by creating a plan to kill and bury her body, allowing them finally to be together uninterrupted. With the help of a young, ambitious Puerto Rican detective, Maria Gonzalez, and the help of her psychic friend Raphaella, they try to solve the mystery surrounding Miriam’s disappearance and help avenge her angry and restless spirit.
